Who we are?
Lakefest is run by Tower Pig Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 07393912), with its registered office at 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU. Tower Pig Ltd is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what we do with it. If you have any questions, email us at info@lakefest.co.uk.
What we collect

When you book: your name, email address, phone number, postcode, date of birth, the names of the people on your tickets, and your answers to any questions we ask at checkout.

When you use our website: your IP address, the pages you visit and the browser you use.

When you fill in a form or survey: whatever you tell us, which we may combine with other details you’ve given us.

When you apply for accessible camping or a personal assistant ticket: information about your access needs, so we can assess your application. We use it only for that.

We rely on different legal grounds depending on what we’re doing: delivering what you’ve bought, your consent, our legitimate interest in running and improving the festival, or a legal obligation.
Marketing
You can stop receiving our newsletter or marketing emails at any time by clicking unsubscribe in any of our emails, or by emailing info@lakefest.co.uk. We only send marketing by text message if you’ve said yes to it, and you can opt out whenever you like.
Who we share it with
We share a limited amount of your information with other organizations so we can do the following:

Online purchasing: all tickets are sold through Ticket Tailor, and payments are handled by their payment providers. Their privacy policy is at https://www.tickettailor.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Partners who provide what you’ve booked: some things you can book through Lakefest, such as glamping, are provided by partner companies. When you book one of these, we share your name, email address and phone number with the company providing it, so they can arrange and deliver what you’ve bought. They may only use your details for that purpose, not for their own marketing. We tell you on the booking page when a partner is involved.

Email and marketing services: we use trusted providers to send our emails and manage our mailing list.

Analytics and advertising: we use Google Analytics to understand how our website is used, and Meta’s tracking pixel to measure the results of our Facebook and Instagram adverts. If you’d rather not be tracked this way, you can turn off cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the website may then not work properly.

Legal requirements: we may be required by law to hand over certain information to the authorities.
We never sell your information.
Where your information is held
Some of the companies we use store information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, we only use providers that protect your information to the standard UK law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. We keep order and payment records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, apart from anything we’re legally required to keep.
Security
We take security seriously and use recognized industry standards to protect your information. Our website uses SSL encryption for anything sent to or from it. No transmission over the internet can ever be completely secure, but we do what we reasonably can.
Your rights

To do any of these, email info@lakefest.co.uk. If you ask us to delete your information, you may lose access to things you’ve bought through Lakefest. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

We’ll update this page if anything changes. If the change is significant and you’re a Lakefest customer, we’ll let you know by email.
