About
The multi-talented Lisa Unique began her career as a classically trained musician before discovering her true calling behind the decks.
Lisa regularly performs throughout the UK, she has played at prestigious corporate events for brands such as Ferrari, Vodafone, Blackberry, Phones 4 U, Guess, Superdry, Nike, Spice Girls Concerts, Bacardi, BT, Formula One, World Rally Championship and H&M.
In 2017, Lisa worked on the Superdry Compilation Album, curating the club tour and contributing one of her own tracks to the release.
She is also the driving force behind the iconic Retrospective of House brand and regularly performs at major festivals and events.
Lisa co-founded the independent record label Flipside Records, dedicated to quality dance music. Tracks from the label have featured on BBC Radio 1, Capital Dance, Capital FM, Kiss FM and numerous European stations, gaining DJ support from Alesso, Friend Within, Benny Benassi, Basement Jaxx, Bingo Players and Roger Sanchez, among others.
A versatile performer known for her ability to read any crowd, Lisa’s DJ sets effortlessly blend genres while keeping energy and connection at the heart of her performance.
History
In 2001, Lisa stamped her indelible mark on the global music scene at the Winter Music Conference in Miami, helping to ignite the urban explosion of UK Garage that went on to shape the sound of mainstream dance culture.
As the genre evolved, she continued to champion it internationally—touring Holland, India, Russia, America, Italy and Norway, where garage was flourishing.
Lisa returned from her world tour with a heightened international profile and a solid grasp of the vast opportunities that lay ahead.
She has played for audiences of thousands around the world, with appearances at Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Glastonbury, V Festival, Nike events and the Miami Winter Music Conference.
Producer
Lisa went on to produce her own tracks, earning recognition from Seb Fontaine, Tall Paul and Jeremy Healey for her innovative, house-driven garage track “UNIQUE” (Sony INCredible imprint), which resonated strongly with both UK and international audiences.
